Custom soundbar bracket
Recently added a soundbar to the tv in the van. I bought a bracket off Amazon, but wasn’t happy with how it fit for the smaller tv.
Decided to build one…
I used a 4’ 0.125” aluminum flat bar and a few 8-32 bolts for the keyholes on the soundbar. I used rivets to attach the vertical and horizontal bars but using nuts and bolts would have worked fine
- For the horizontal I used the template that came with the soundbar.
- For the vertical pieces I measured and cut to 25cm.
- The vesa mount for the tv is a 100mm spacing so I measured and drilled two holes on the horizontal 5cm to the left and right of the centre point.
- On the verticals, drill holes at 2cm, 4cm, 12cm and 14cm from the “top”
