Connect your BBQ to the ZION
**** I have not tested this yet, but 99% sure this is correct ****
If you're planning to grill on your Roadtrek Zion, you'll be happy to know that it comes equipped with a high-pressure quick connect propane valve for connecting your grill to the RV tank. However, it's important to note that many other RV manufacturers have a low-pressure quick connect, so be sure to check your RV's manual before attempting to connect your grill. To connect your grill to the propane tank on your Roadtrek Zion, you will need a few things. First, you will need a hose that has a 1/4 quick connect propane fitting on one end and a 1-20 Female on the other (the same end as a 1# propane tank). This hose will allow you to connect your grill to the high-pressure quick connect propane valve on your RV tank.
You will also need a regulator attached to your grill. It's important to note that the Zion requires a regulator attached to your grill, so if you read other posts about disconnecting your regulator, this does NOT apply with the Zion.
If you want to connect a larger grill or even a small fire pit, you can get a 1-20 Male to QCC-1/Female P.O.L. adapter. This will be labeled as an adapter to use a 1# tank with your 20# device, sometimes called a steak saver.
With these tools on hand, you'll be able to connect your grill to the propane tank on your Roadtrek Zion and enjoy outdoor cooking while on the road.
